Is the superficial better than the real?

This idea has occurred to me before but

It's really digging hard in my brain right now

Is it better to be in relationship with someone

At least you have a companion? 

OR!

Is it better to wait for someone

Who matches your level of self-awareness but

You'll be in solitude until then?

Indifferently than to express

What we truly feel

Or at least for those of us

Who had the upbringing of

Having to pretend

I'm not sure whether what I'm

Going to elaborate on is right or wrong

But I do know that it feels different than being

Indifferent
